HOW THE CSV CHECK WORKS
Choose the columns that define your review.
ListingGuard uses your CSV headers as they are. Select the column containing listing content, then select only the source columns whose values should appear in that content. It does not connect to a product feed or infer a catalogue mapping.
1. Upload a CSV
Upload a CSV export containing the product descriptions you want to review.
2. Choose columns
Choose one listing description column and any source columns you want to compare.
3. Review each row
Inspect row-level warnings, errors, passed checks, and the result details for the first five rows.
A SMALL CSV EXAMPLE
See the selected source values against each description.
With Material, Colour, and Price selected as source columns, ListingGuard checks whether those values appear in the chosen listing description. The table shows the kind of row-level outcome the CSV workflow returns.
| Row | Selected source values | Listing description | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Cotton · Blue · €49.95 | Blue cotton shirt — €49.95 | Passed |
| 3 | Cotton · Blue · €49.95 | Black polyester shirt — €49.95 | 2 warnings |
| 4 | Nylon · Black · €89.95 | Black nylon jacket — €79.95 | 1 warning |
The second row produces separate warnings: “Material value does not match the listing” and “Colour value does not match the listing.” The third produces “Price value does not match the listing.” The CSV view lets you filter rows and expand details to inspect the result.
What else applies to each valid row.
After a listing description is selected, ListingGuard validates each row independently. Enabled deterministic rules also apply, including configured forbidden terms and description-length limits. Empty descriptions remain visible as row-level input errors instead of stopping the rest of the sample.

The current free CSV check processes and displays detailed results for the first five data rows only. It stays local to your browser and is not saved.
